Basic Estimating School in the Books
The annual CURRIES Basic Estimating School was held April 27-29 in Mason City, IA. In attendance were 22 students representing 15 companies. The first day of the school started with a door plant tour followed by class room instruction of CURRIES door tech, pricing, labeling, and troubleshooting. On Monday evening, the CURRIES customer service team joined the group for dinner at Music Man Square in Mason City. Tuesday’s session started with a frame plant tour followed by frame tech, pricing, and instruction on CURRIES electronic tools. The Wednesday session included presentations of programs and services offered by CURRIES. The 2-1/2 day session was intended for distributors’ employees with less then 3 years’ experience. The next Basic Estimating School will be held in Mason City in 2010.
