New Window Kit

CURRIES has been using the new style window kit as standard product since early March. Just a reminder, as of June 1 the Type 9 and 10 kits are the standard and we will not be asking which kit is preferred. Please refer to Sales Bulletin #289 for details.

Our Website

Since its launch last fall, CURRIES has been continuing to improve the content and usability of the website. If you have not looked at the new site, take the time to look it over and see the improvements we have made. The Partner Area of the website was launched earlier this year and has many tools to help you with selling CURRIES doors and frames. Just a couple of the features in the Partner Area:

Order Status – See in “real time” when your order will ship along with the detailed shipping information. Also, the POA’s and Invoices are available in a PDF format for each order.
COW – CURRIES Order Writing can be accessed within the Partner Area. No need to update software. Improvements and changes are automatically updated for you each time you log onto the system. Door and Frame orders that fully generate will receive 10-day lead times from the factory.
Tech and Price Manuals – Instead of wondering if you have your books
up-to-date, you can look up Tech and Pricing information that is always
updated in the Partner Area. CURRIES also has a revision page to
show you what has been updated and when it was changed.
Tech Bulletins are also listed and updated as released. CURRIES will be adding Sales Bulletins in the very near future.

Weatherized Doors and Frames

A market to keep aware of is the efforts to weatherize buildings. More and more focus will be on exterior doors and frames and how the opening can help minimize energy usage. Both ASSA ABLOY and CURRIES are working on developing and testing existing and new products to help our distribution network compete in this new and exciting market. Look for announcements and details this summer. For details on CURRIES existing weatherized products, see the “Latest News and Bulletins” section of our website.

Tips

In an effort to get all Quick Ship orders to manufacturing as quickly as possible, CURRIES will call customers with questions along with either an e-mail or fax. The goal of this new procedure is to make sure CURRIES’ customers are receiving doors and frames in the time required with the Quick Ship program.

Accurate Pricing on Invoices

To accurately price and invoice CURRIES products correctly the first time, please make sure to reference your quote number on your order. For COW users, a required field asking if this order is a quoted project must be filled out. The order will not DOT until a quote number is entered in the correct area. This added feature will ensure the invoiced price is the correct discounted price. As always, if you have any questions, please contact your CURRIES Customer Service Professional.
